Dirk Ockhardt is a creator and visionary who has founded his first brand design company in 1996. He is an entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience as a founder, brand and project manager. Born in Germany he relocated to Minnesota in 2010. He wanted to live the American Dream but when he purchased Jack Chivers Realty in 2013 he had no idea where that would lead to.......

Real estate made sense as he had experience in banking and as a business lawyer. But as time would tell, Dirk would be handling more than just contracts. Without the intent, he transformed a traditional real estate company into a unique lifestyle brand by changing the advertising strategy and creating fresh marketing campaigns into the often stale industry. Real Estate needed new ideas.

During the following years he founded multiple businesses and established a stand alone advertising agency going back to his passion for brand design and communications. He published a magazine, a podcast called LAKE LIFE WKND and founded an annual expo event for all Minnesota lake life enthusiasts. He also organized music events and art exhibits. Within the LAKE WKND universe he built an online community and established a successful content marketing strategy to thrive his real estate business.

In 2022 he sold the real estate business in Minnesota to focus on his advertising agency and work with his creative network, helping small and larger businesses with their communication needs.

Since 2024 he co-owns and co-operates a second real estate company he purchased together with his wife. With “Altes Haus” they specialize in historic properties offering unique real estate in Germany and Europe.

Dirk is a bi-lingual German-American dual citizen working in Europe and the US.
